We’ve created the SE200 so you can create your perfect digital audio player. The SE200 is the world’s first multi-DAC player, meaning the perfect sonic profile is yours to specify.

Multiple DACs let you define your sound

With AKM’s AK4499EQ DAC (as featured in our flagship SP2000 player) and the ESS ES9068ES DAC in dual configuration on board, optimised by different amplifier circuitry, the SE200 sound is yours to define. Twice the development and twice the tuning has resulted in twice the digital audio player.

Alter the shape of your music

The SE200 includes bespoke DAC filters provided by AKM and ESS. So no matter the sort of music you’re in the mood to listen to, you can adjust its sonic characteristics until it’s exactly what you want to hear. The sound of your SE200 is yours and yours alone.

Balanced and unbalanced outputs

With fully independent 2.5mm balanced and 3.5mm unbalanced outputs for each DAC/amplifier section, the SE200 is ready to drive your favourite headphones no matter how demanding they might be. This flexibility of engineering can only be found on Astell&Kern digital audio players.

Feat of memory

Offline listening is a crucial part of any digital audio player’s functionality. So the SE200 is fitted with a big 256GB of internal memory - that’s enough to store around 500 albums in CD-quality, ready for you to listen to no matter where you are.

Aural sculpture

We’ve combined aluminium with ceramic and glass to create a digital audio player that looks and feels very nearly as good as it sounds. If industrial design can ever be thought of in terms of ‘art’, then the SE200 is assuredly a work of art.
